“What the rise of experiential travel reiterates is that travelers want greater flexibility, more choice and a more personalized trip that’s in their control.”

In a Private Tour from Newport Jaguar Tours, you will Reach Destinations and have Experiences that no Trolley or Bus Tour can Provide.
Newport Jaguar Tours will pick you up and demonstrate that your comfort and our experiences are unparalleled as you immerse yourself in a luxurious guided private tour of Newport, and greater Newport County. All tours come with highlighted destinations, and stories unique to Newport, and then can be customized in more specific ways to your liking.
The classic Jaguars carry one to four passengers in private tours…two people tops if you’re in a convertible, with a certain nimbleness required for the person in the rear seat. (Yes, what one will do for the summer sun and the wind in the hair.) Ask about the availability of multiple cars for larger groups—we connect the cars through Bluetooth so everyone hears the same live guided tour. A gourmet champagne picnic lunch is available on full-day, private tours. A stop at a fabulous seaside restaurant, lobster shack or country inn is another option on a full-day, private tour.
Included in all private tours is important, fun information and views of Newport’s famous scenic beauty, architecture and more, as well as experiencing amazing history and stories about its famous and infamous citizens. Let us know where your interests lie and we will customize a tour for you.
Boston to Newport in Style.
It’s Trains, Planes, and Automobiles—well, maybe not the planes part. The MBTA has opened or, more accurately, re-opened a rail line from Boston to Fall River, Mass. Newport Jaguar Tours (NJT) has introduced a new service: Rail and Ride. After traveling comfortably by train from Boston to Fall River, Mass. on the new Southcoast Rail Line, NJT will pick up guests to ride to Newport in luxury and style in a classic Jaguar motorcar and provide a private tour upon arrival. NJT offers nearly 20 private, guided themed tours of the City by the Sea.
The most popular tour is The Grand Tour, featuring highlights from most of the other tours. Wine Tastings, taking a scenic cruise and then visiting local vineyards, is a close second. Perhaps most important, guests can review all of the themed tours and Newport Jaguar Tours will customize a tour just for you. At the end of your day, your driver will take you back to the train station in your classic Jag-for-a-day. Selfie opportunities abound! Other daytrip destinations are also possible.

Gourmet Champagne Picnics
Let us cater a fabulous picnic lunch.
Choose to let us cater a fabulous picnic lunch and deliver you to an equally divine location to fully enjoy your meal. A stylish picnic basket and blanket is included, with all of the food and drink you will need, along with real plates, silverware, and glasses. We require 48 hour advance notice for a picnic request. If it rains we will recommend a place to still enjoy your meal. Picnics are $185 per person (minimum 2) in addition to your tour fee.

Fine Dining
Experience the full panoply of local dining.
On full-day tours, you will be transported to a local iconic dining place for your lunch, unless you book a gourmet, champagne picnic lunch. These restaurants can include establishments known for majestic ocean views, or, to experience the full panoply of local dining, you could choose a lobster shack, or specialists in local seafood. Please indicate when booking a specific full-day tour that you are electing this option and you will be given choices by your guide.
