Amazing private tour!! Our tour guide was a fabulous host and showed us such a great time. He went through historic Newport, showing us landmarks, the Mansions and also many beautiful areas. He spoke of the history and talked about fun facts and showed us areas that were out of the way. His jaguars were spotless and climate controlled. He was a gracious host and went above and beyond to ensured we had a spectacular day on our private tour. I highly recommend Newport Jaguar Tours for anyone looking for great value and fun time excursion.
My husband and I were married at Newport Vineyards 2 years ago and I have been coming here every summer since I was a kid (30+ yrs). My husband surprised me with a tour and the driver picked us up from our hotel with wine in hand to kick off the tour. As many years as I’ve vacationed here, I had no idea about some of the historical charm and beauty of Newport. We finished the tour with a trip to Greenvale Vineyards. The driver set us up with the perfect view, snacks and some good laughs. I can’t wait to ride with the Newport Jaguar Tour again next year!
What a great way to ride! Newport itself is a fabulous place but if you’re in a classic Jaguar with a guided private tour it is magnificent. Our tour guide was well versed and fun but, more important, on a private tour he took us to places that we could not access on a group tour, including places off the beaten path and known only by locals. Not to mention a couple of great locations with unbelievable views and fine food and cocktails. (And, let me mention, you are allowed to drink in style in the car.) Perhaps most important, our driver let us personalize our tour to highlight the points of interest and experiences that we liked the best. We did the Kennedys in Newport Tour and visited places that only the driver knew! What a blast … and just a little bit salacious. However, there are other customized tours that we plan to come back and take, everything from art galleries, to wine tastings, to sailing, yachting and naval history, and a gourmet champagne picnic. This is a five-star experience for sure and, given the extras, a really good value for a three hour or full day tour.
